Welcome to LUCA Docs
LUCA is a suite of software tools designed to empower live event professionals in taking control of many aspects of their production with a set of modern and flexible tools specially built for live events.
The LUCA suite will keep expanding over time as we bring in more tools and solutions.
On this site can be found all the information needed to set up, run, and troubleshoot a LUCA deployment.
How to use this site
This site serves as the primary support tool for users of LUCA applications by Vampire Squid.
Within this site the reader will be able to find information on every aspect of the applications within the LUCA suite.
If faced with an issue, it is usually quickest to check this site for information related to the problem before trying other support options.
As this site is frequently updated, it is the best place to get the most up to date information regarding new developments to the LUCA suite.
Dark and Light modes
In the top right of the site a small sun or mood icon can be seen, pressing this will toggle the colour scheme of the site between Dark and Light modes.
Navigation
To the left of the page can be found sections pertaining to each application, within each section, pages specific to certain aspects or featrues of the suite can be found.
A tab for Release Notes can be found on the top menu. Here users will be able to read about what has changed within the applications of the suite as they are updated.
Site elements
Throughout the site there will be several visual elements that will help highlight certain information, some of these are listed below.
Info boxes
Info boxes will help impart specific information to the feature they relate to, which might not be obvious from the text.
Tip boxes
Tip boxes contain helpful hints on how to optimise your experience with LUCA apps.
Caution boxes
Caution Boxes highlight actions that require the user's considered attention.
Danger boxes
Danger boxes outline potentially dangerous actions the user could take, and will generally outline the consequence of proceeding with that action.
Links
Rather than duplicating information between pages, it will often be seen that a topic has a link which leads back to a more detailed and specific page of the docs.
Links can be seen as text in a different colour and underlined when hovered, like this.
